Ron & Charlene's Wedding

Hey friends!

I helped take a few photos of my dad and his new wife Charlene a few weeks ago, before their ceremony. (Check our John Triemstra photography to see when he posts the rest of the day! Yay for family talents to take advantage of!!) ;) ;P
Thankfully we had a gorgeous January day with beautiful sunshine, even though it was cold- the weather was great and we didn't have any winter issues, which is always a fear for those January weddings.
So I thought I'd share a few for them to look through, so here's what we came up with! My family is pretty good lookin'!

Sister Photoshoot

We grew up taking photos together for fun, so we always like to keep them updated when we're all together! Becky and our tag-along sister Tiff were both home from Alberta, so we ventured out on Friday to find a good place, since the light was so pretty. As sisters do, we were all debating back and forth to drive down this road or that, trying to find the perfectly lit field. "Left!" "No! Right!" "Not right, theres nothing there.."  ..when suddenly we all saw a hill that had to have potential on the other side.. "RIGHT! Go Right!" Hilary U-turned and we drove up this hill and right at the top found the most beautiful spot ever! Sun setting, lake, and field. We all cheered and laughed, and jumped out of the car to start snapping these. We had some fun, and the photos really turned out amazing!

Love these 4 girls to bits, so thankful to journey through life with them. We've had some hard times recently, but our friendship is strong and it's carried us through all the ups and downs. 

Sweet Summertime.

I thought I would share a few shots of some fun we had last night, cause- they're pretty cute photos! :)  It's been an extremely challenging past 4 months for my family and with EVERYTHING going in on our life right now, we are being carried by only the strength Jesus offers us through his daily grace. I see it in so many small ways, and one of those is the joy my kids bring. Kids are just kids, they see the world through a different lens, and I think I captured a little bit of that while we stepped out and slowed down for just a few minutes. We soaked in the warm summer sun and listened to the playful squeals of our kids feeling loved, feeling grace, feeling hope. Soaking in the beautiful moments and making them count, we've only got one shot at this.

Just a little snapshot of my favourite girl! Every time I pull out my camera she laughs and gets super giddy. She loves the camera!
..Excited to be getting back into photo shoots real soon! Looking forward to all my upcoming shoots, and of course sharing those photos with you, I have so much fun doing this!
